About us

We are Helena and Mutlu - a Swedish-Turkish couple who share a love for nature, beauty, and simple living. We live on-site in a separate building, and are on hand with advice on where to go and what to do during your holiday.

For years, we dreamed of a home in the French countryside where we could create something meaningful and offer others a place to rest, recharge, and reconnect. When we found La Mouy, a traditional walnut farm surrounded by rolling hills and timeless charm, we knew it was the perfect place to make that dream come true.

Mutlu adds the warmth of the Mediterranean to La Mouy, sharing his passion for delicious, healthy food that brings people together. He is an amazing chef, combining Turkish and French cuisine. Helena’s love for creating beautiful, relaxing spaces shines through every detail - blending rustic French charm with soft Scandinavian light and colours.

Together, we’ve poured our hearts into La Mouy and created a place where guests can slow down, rest, have fun and feel instantly at home.
